Assistant Accountant

About Us:
We are a growing Ecommerce company looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable (debtors) and accounts payable (creditors) effectively.
  • Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue payments, and reconcile customer/vendor statements.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock records and reconciliations with accounting data.
  • Process supplier invoices and customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and summaries.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records in the ERP system.
  • Assist in audits and other finance-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of debtor & creditor management and inventory management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,750.00 per month
