Assistant Accountant - VAT

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant - VAT with mandatory UAE VAT experience to manage compliance and advisory services for our clients. The role involves overseeing VAT operations, ensuring FTA compliance, and mentoring junior staff. MALE CANDIDATES PREFERRED.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage VAT compliance for multiple clients, including registration, return filing, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Provide VAT advisory on transactions, contracts, and business restructuring.
• Conduct VAT health checks, internal audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure strict adherence to UAE VAT laws and FTA regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior VAT staff.
• Stay updated on changes in VAT legislation, corporate tax, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CA Inter qualification mandatory
• Minimum 2 years of UAE VAT experience mandatory.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT law, FTA compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple clients and meet strict deadlines.
