Assistant Admin & Accounts

BMT invites applications from qualified, organized, and responsible individuals for the position of Assistant Admin & Accounts. The selected candidate will assist in day-to-day administrative and accounting operations and ensure proper record keeping in accordance with organizational policies.

Job responsibility

Accounts & Finance:

  • Posting and maintaining vouchers (BRV, CPV, JV) in accounting software
  • Maintaining donation cash books and bank-wise registers
  • Depositing donations in designated banks and maintaining deposit slip records
  • Maintaining petty cash records and expense reports in accounting software
  • Assisting in salary preparation and distribution
  • Depositing statutory payments (W.H. Tax, EOBI, etc.)
  • Supporting internal and external audit activities
  • Maintaining proper filing system for financial records (soft & hard copies)

Banking & Documentation:

  • Handling banking matters with multiple banks
  • Preparing employee bank account opening letters
  • Providing required documents for regulatory bodies (SECP, FBR, EOBI, EAD, PCP, etc.)

Administration & Office Support:

  • Maintaining office files, registers, and log books
  • Record keeping of inward/outward registers and requisition books
  • Managing utility bills (electricity, gas, water, PTCL, mobile, internet, tracker, etc.)
  • Maintaining vehicle records, fuel issue books, and repair documentation
  • Assisting in purchasing, printing, and office coordination tasks

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Supporting administrative matters related to field offices, schools, and shelters
  • Assisting in drafting, noting, and basic documentation
  • Any other task assigned by management as per organizational needs

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation Degree in Accounting, Finance, Ecommerce
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance / B.Com / equivalent

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in administration and accounts
  • Experience in NGO / welfare sector will be considered an added advantage

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Sound understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and accounting software
  • Strong organizational and record-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills
  • Willingness to work under deadlines and multitask
