Assistant Branch Manager

Objectives of this role

· Oversee branch operations and ensure a smooth flow

· Maintain a positive operation’s culture

· Create work schedules that align with the branch's needs

· Ensure proper compliance with brand’s hygiene regulations

· Train new employees to help them meet the brand's expectations

· Interact with diners/customers and build positive rapport with different types of people

Responsibilities (Leadership)

· Manage and keep up smooth branch operations

· Supervise all staff & providing necessary feedback

· Write daily sale & inventory reports on both revenue and costs files & report it to HODs

· Communicate with diners & customers and mitigate potential conflicts

· Organize and take stock of branch supplies

· Maintain weekly and monthly payroll/attendance of staff & design weekly roasters

· Financial / Sales / Payments

· P & L management (achievement of sales and profit targets, projections, management of costs-food, paper and people)

· Develop and co-ordinate a Business Plan & report it monthly

· Check & present weekly paperwork

· Ensure invoice payment (proper punching)

Skills and qualifications

· Proven work experience in Hospitality

· Demonstrated customer service skills

· Understanding of financial management

· Good knowledge of IT, software, MS office

· Ability to memorize and explain the restaurant's menu

· Strong ordering projections

· Strong inventory/stock management

· Willingness to work flexible hours

· Clear verbal communication skills

· Organization skills

· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

· Clear attention to detail

· Problem-solving skills
