Assistant Brand & Category Manager - International Division

Job Purpose

To support the development and execution of marketing plans for the assigned category (Condiments/Culinary), ensuring brand consistency, market growth, and strong in-market execution. This role provides critical support in campaign implementation, category analysis, and brand management for assigned categories.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Management

  • Manages day-to-day marketing for the category, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
  • Develop briefs for digital and creative agencies, aligning with the Category & Brand Manager for campaign development.
  • Works with creative and digital agencies to develop key assets for the portfolio.
  • Implements marketing campaigns and initiatives as directed by the Brand Manager.
  • Develop required brand collateral for domain categories.

Research & Development

  • Coordinates with the local team for & develops briefs/stimulus for research to provide insights for strategy refinement.
  • Collaborates with the Innovations team on new product development relevant to respective categories.
  • Works on packaging renovation initiatives for the portfolio.

Performance Monitoring & Financial Management

  • Tracks and reports on campaign performance and key category metrics.
  • Assists in budget tracking, purchase order processing, and invoice management.
  • Monitors secondary data for assigned categories and assists in identifying performance gaps.

Coordination & Support

  • Works closely with sales teams and agencies to ensure marketing plans are executed effectively.
  • Supports trade marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Provides administrative and operational support to the Category & Brand Manager.

Skill Requirement

  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop marketing materials and execute campaigns effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and familiarity with data analytics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

  • Master’s / Bachelor of Marketing.
  • Understanding of brand management, consumer marketing, and category insights.
  • Familiarity with FMCG marketing principles
  • Basic knowledge of market research methodologies and data interpretation
