Export Sales Manager - Lubricant and Auto Care

Job Role: Export Manager – Lubricants & Auto Care

The Export Manager will be responsible for driving the company’s international business development, focusing on lubricants and automotive care products. The role requires developing export strategies, expanding into new markets, building distributor networks, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and achieving sales growth targets across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Export Sales & Market Expansion

  • Develop and implement export strategies to drive lubricant and auto care product sales in target markets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish distributors, agents, and strategic partners.
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets across assigned regions (Asia, MENA, Africa, etc.).

2. Market Research & Business Development

  • Conduct detailed market research to assess opportunities, competitors, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop new business opportunities in untapped international markets.
  • Recommend product positioning and promotional activities based on market demand.

3. Client & Distributor Management

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing distributors and clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms in line with company policies.
  • Provide technical and product knowledge support to partners.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export regulations, and customs requirements.
  • Oversee export documentation, including contracts, invoices, shipping documents, and certificates.
  • Coordinate with logistics for smooth and timely deliveries.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, finance, and quality assurance teams to meet export orders.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and submit regular reports to management.
  • Track competitor activities and market trends to recommend business strategies.

6. Brand Development & Promotion

  • Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to promote brand visibility.
  • Develop marketing and promotional strategies tailored to specific regional markets.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of export sales/marketing experience, preferably in automotive lubricants or related industries.
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of export documentation, shipping procedures, and international trade regulations.
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
