The Assistant Brand Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Brand Manager in executing brand strategies across various product categories. This position involves close collaboration with multiple departments, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure the brand’s consistent growth and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Execution:
Assist in the development and implementation of brand strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Support the Brand Manager in conducting market research and analyzing consumer insights to refine brand positioning.
Collaborate with internal teams to execute brand plans, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and packaging
updates.
Product Development and Management:
Assist in the management of the product lifecycle from concept to market, including product testing and packaging design.
Monitor product performance and suggest improvements based on consumer feedback and sales data.
Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of products.
Marketing and Advertising:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute advertising and promotional campaigns across various
channels (TV, digital, print, etc.).
Assist in managing relationships with external agencies and vendors for creative development and media buying.
Support the execution of digital marketing initiatives, including social media management, content creation, and online
advertising.
Sales and Distribution Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement trade marketing strategies that drive product visibility and sales at
retail outlets.
Analyze sales data to track performance against targets and recommend actions for improvement.
Provide input on pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize market share.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely distribution.
Coordinate with the sales team to gather feedback from the market and adjust strategies accordingly.
Participate in regular cross-functional meetings to align on goals and strategies.
Budget Management:
Assist in managing the brand’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources across marketing and promotional activities.
Track spending and provide regular updates to the Brand Manager on budget performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in brand management, within the FMCG/CPG industry.
Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms is a plus.
Other Details:
This job follows KSA working hours (11 am to 8 pm, Pakistan Standard Time), Sunday to Thursday (Friday & Saturdays are off).
This is an on-site job in Karachi and reports directly into the business leader in KSA.
Compensation:
The role offers a competitive salary of PKR 200-350k per month (determined on the basis of experience)
