ASSISTANT CLOTHING DESIGNER

Secret Charm LLC is an established women’s apparel design company in Downtown Los Angeles and we are looking to expand our team in our growing business with new talent.

We are looking for an Assistant Designer that will utilize their skills to support the design team with daily design-related tasks. The candidate will assist with the design development process from start to finish to support the Designer’s creative direction.

Responsibilities:

• Strong CAD illustration skills in illustrator as well as hand sketching.
• Input and maintain organization of styles and databases
• Work as a liaison to other parties on behalf of the Designer and team
• Take ownership of organizational information from start to finish
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed by team members and follow through on tasks assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

• Degree in Fashion or similar related field preferred
• working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and photoshop
• An organized individual with attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• A responsible and dependable team player that can work efficiently on a timeline
