Qualification & Experience:
- A master's degree or equivalent from a well reputed university in Management or Public Administration, with 5 to 10 years of experience in an administrative staff position in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist DD Admin in all HR and Admin matters of employees in coordination with HR Dte
- Compliance with university rules and regulations
- Manage daily attendance & discipline
- To ensure maintenance of the building, classrooms, seminar hall, lecturer hall and all office, in coordination with Works Dte and Admin Dtes.
- All administrative activities of the Institution in coordination with Main Office, Principal, DD Adm and HoD’s, including student functions, seminars, workshops and events.
- Processing of all Medical cases of faculty, officers and NG Staff.
- Administrative Assist in all activities of societies and clubs.
- Process all NUST accommodation cases of Faculty, Officers and NG Staff and assist during Handing/ taking over of accommodation and repair/maintenance.
- Provision of transport service to faculty, support staff and students and institution’s guests
- To ensure maintenance / repairs /procurements of furniture and other items held on charge of School.
- Coordinate and conduct annual stock taking (store section only).
- Arrange and assist in all official dinners / Lunch’s / other Refreshment in coordination with NUST Mess.
- Assist in arrangements for official guests (including boarding & lodging).
- Timely provision of the officers to new faculty and officers, in coordination with departments head.
- Assist in all sports and Extra-curricular activities at the institution.
- Oversee and monitor code of conduct and dress code policy of students.
- Keep the DD Adm / Principal adequately and regularly informed about all administrative matters.
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the Competent Authority.
Knowlege/Skills/Abilities:
- Preference will be given to the individuals qualified in administration courses OR Retired Maj or equivalent from Armed Forces having requisite qualification/experience.
Terms and Conditions:
- Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics /Professional).
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.
Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply after seeking NOC from their respective parent department / organizations.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
- Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
