A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical operations and regulatory oversight. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role requiring prior experience as an ADON within a Skilled Nursing Facility.

The ADON will partner directly with the Director of Nursing to maintain compliance, oversee nursing staff performance, and support quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support oversight of daily nursing operations within the Skilled Nursing Facility
• Maintain compliance with federal and state long-term care regulations
• Assist with survey preparation and regulatory processes
• Supervise nursing leadership and unit-level staff
• Monitor documentation standards, infection control practices, and quality metrics
• Assist with staffing management and departmental accountability
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and performance improvement efforts
• Collaborate with the DON and Administrator to ensure operational stability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a Skilled Nursing Facility required
• Strong working knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care compliance
• Demonstrated experience supporting survey readiness and regulatory processes
• Proven ability to manage clinical staff and maintain departmental standards
