Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY

A Skilled Nursing Facility in Briarcliff Manor, NY is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support oversight of clinical operations and nursing staff. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role requiring prior ADON experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility.

The ADON will partner directly with the Director of Nursing to maintain regulatory compliance, support staffing stability, and ensure high standards of resident care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily oversight of nursing operations within the Skilled Nursing Facility
• Ensure compliance with CMS and New York State DOH regulations
• Assist with survey preparation, regulatory inspections, and plans of correction
• Supervise unit managers, RN supervisors, and nursing staff
• Monitor documentation accuracy, care plans, and infection control standards
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and quality improvement efforts
• Assist with staffing oversight and clinical performance management
• Collaborate with the DON and Administrator on operational stability

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility required
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and NY DOH survey processes
• Demonstrated experience supporting survey readiness and compliance
• Proven ability to manage nursing staff in a SNF environment
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
