Assistant Ecommerce Marketing Coordinator

Contravisual is a completely vertical operation; design, merchandising, development, sourcing, producing, and distributing both branded, licensed, and private label apparel to all tiers of distribution through vast retail partnerships. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and creative individual for an Ecommerce/Digital Marketing/Social Media role. This is an entry-level position perfect for a college graduate looking to get some post-school experience. The position focuses on the digital side of one of our top retail/apparel brands with styles in hundreds of stores across of the country. Ideal candidate must be skilled with technology and operations as well as having strong communicative skills and a thirst for knowledge. The position will be in office Monday thru Friday and reports to the Senior Ecommerce Manager.

What you’ll learn and do:

  • Buying and tracking inventory of Ecommerce purchase orders for product to be launched on the webstore.
  • Executing product uploads in Shopify – creating products and uploading SEO friendly images and descriptions, ensuring product feed syncing, and tagging product for organization.
  • Merchandising product to keep the site fresh – highlighting new styles, organizing by product types, monitoring out of stock and archive products to be removed.
  • Maintaining the site to update with new imagery, callouts, or other changes that the customer is to know about, in correlation with the marketing calendar.
  • Building out prospecting and retention marketing campaigns (Email, SMS, Paid Social) with assets provided by the Graphics team, to send to segmented audience groups.
  • Scheduling, reporting, and replying to direct messages within various social media channels.
  • Assisting the marketing team with any other efforts related to influencer, affiliate, blogging, content or related marketing channels.
  • Reporting on marketing KPIs via Shopify, Google Analytics, or related apps to provide performance reports on products and campaigns.

What is required:

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe creative suite
  • Proficient in Microsoft office apps
  • Ability to take direction and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Works well with others in a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
