Position
Overview

The Assistant Facilities Manager will support the
Facilities Manager in overseeing the maintenance and operations of the
organization’s properties. The role involves assisting in preventive and
corrective maintenance, coordinating with vendors and contractors, supervising
day-to-day facilities operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and
quality standards. This position is designed for a proactive and
detail-oriented professional who can support in managing diverse facility
requirements while ensuring smooth operations.

Key
Responsibilities

Assist the Facilities Manager in planning
and executing preventive, corrective, routine, and emergency
maintenance across facilities, including civil, MEP, HVAC, plumbing,
firefighting, and swimming pool systems.
Support in scheduling and coordinating
maintenance and repair activities for equipment and systems such as chillers,
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire detection, and building security systems.
Conduct regular inspections of
properties to identify maintenance issues and escalate for corrective
action.
Monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts
(AMCs) and liaise with subcontractors to ensure services are delivered
as per agreed standards and SLAs.
Assist in preparing RFQs and
quotations for external vendors and service providers.
Maintain records of maintenance requests,
track completion timelines, and ensure compliance with SLAs.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and
departments on operational and maintenance issues.
Support the supervision of the
facilities team, ensuring assigned tasks are completed efficiently and
safely.
Assist with facility modifications,
relocations, and space planning projects (e.g., office reconfiguration,
furniture installation).
Contribute to HSE compliance and
audits, ensuring safe work practices across sites.
Provide administrative and technical
support in property maintenance documentation, reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications
& Experience

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical
Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in
facilities or maintenance supervision, preferably within the UAE.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing,
electrical, and civil maintenance.
Familiarity with vendor management, AMCs,
and contract handling.
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting skills.
Good written and verbal communication
skills in English (knowledge of Hindi is an advantage).
UAE driving license preferred.
Working knowledge in CAFM System & BMS System is an advantage.
