Assistant Fitness Manager - Four Seasons Resort at The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia

Four Seasons Resort at The Red Sea is a luxury destination in Saudi Arabia, built on Shura Island with 149 rooms, six restaurants, a full service spa, and extensive wellness amenities. Responsibilities
  • Oversee all spa, salon, and fitness facilities, ensuring standards of excellence, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
  • Create and deliver engaging wellness and fitness programs that enhance the guest experience and reflect the brand's holistic philosophy.
  • Manage day to day operations, including front desk, locker rooms, relaxation lounge, treatment rooms, and retail spaces.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, and engineering to ensure functional, clean, and safe environments.
  • Lead, train, and supervise spa staff, fostering a motivated work environment, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing staff development strategies.
  • Host regular staff meetings to share hotel updates, policies, and strategies for enhancing sales and service.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by upholding luxury service standards, responding promptly to feedback, and coordinating group bookings and on site spa tours for planners and VIPs.
  • Manage retail operations, including purchasing, inventory control, and product selection aligned with guest preferences and spa themes.
  • Assist in financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and reporting to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of PR events, promotions, and local initiatives to drive guest engagement and revenue.
  • Maintain adherence to Four Seasons Category One and Two Work Rules, safety standards, and hazard free environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of supervisory or management experience in a club, spa, or wellness setting.
  • Degree in hospitality management, wellness, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership, motivation, and team development capabilities.
  • Creative problem solving and innovative thinking.
  • Knowledge of hotel and spa software systems and operational efficiencies.
  • Commitment to luxury guest experiences and passion for health and wellness industry.
