Assistant General Manager

Tommy's Express Car Wash is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant General Manager. As a leader in the car wash industry, Tommy's Express is committed to providing exceptional service and a positive customer experience. The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our car wash facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

• Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Supervise and motivate team members to maintain high standards of service.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

2. Customer Service:

• Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring excellent service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Train, mentor, and coach staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

3. Quality Control:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment functionality.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Address and resolve any issues related to equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

4. Financial Management:

• Assist in monitoring financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and budget adherence.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to identify opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory levels and ordering of supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize costs.

5. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and enforce health and safety standards for both customers and staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a managerial role within the car wash or related industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of car wash equipment and maintenance practices a plus.
• Proven track record in achieving operational and financial goals.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
