We are seeking an Assistant General Manager with a primary focus on leading and driving performance of the outside HVAC sales team. This role partners closely with the General Manager to grow revenue, develop sales talent, and ensure strong alignment between sales and operations.

Responsibilities:
As the Assistant General Manager – HVAC Sales Focus, you will take ownership of outside residential HVAC sales performance while supporting overall branch operations.
Responsibilities include:
Lead, coach, and develop the outside HVAC sales team (Comfort Advisors) to meet and exceed revenue goals
Drive sales performance, close rates, and average ticket growth through consistent coaching and accountability
Conduct ride-alongs and in-field training to improve sales effectiveness and consistency
Partner with the General Manager to execute sales strategies and growth initiatives
Monitor sales KPIs, reporting, and forecasting to ensure targets are achieved
Align sales efforts with install and service teams to ensure smooth job turnover and customer satisfaction
Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new sales team members
Assist in pricing strategy, promotions, and sales process improvements
Resolve escalated customer concerns and ensure a strong customer experience
Collaborate with operations teams to maintain efficiency and profitability
Support overall branch performance including revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction goals
Qualifications:
2+ years of residential HVAC sales or sales leadership experience
Proven success leading outside / in-home HVAC sales teams
Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and replacement sales process
Ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing sales professionals
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing KPIs, forecasting, and performance metrics
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Strong leadership, communication, and business acumen
