Job Description

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to out regular members, day pass users and have a keen focus on our in-house guest

Lead day to day operations of the Health Club and ensure all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience

Ensure all equipment is functioning properly at all times; if and when maintenance is required, to liaise with our ENG Team and AMC contracts to ensure they are back to working order in a timely manner

Promote and organize all fitness programs and activities for in house guest/ members and group guests ensuring they are shared with our Reconnect and Marketing Team on a monthly basis

Ensure guests are provided with proper instruction on the use of equipment and fitness information to secure a safe environment

Maintain all attendance records and ensure they are accurate and guests are registered according to standards

Promote the facility to new and existing members to support the growth of revenues alongside the Reconnect Team

Organize special events as required and work closely with our S&M/Spa Team on promoting Boot Camps

Ensure the Health Club area is clean and well maintained at all times and conduct regular spot checks

Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings, daily briefings to well maintain open communications with the Team

Assist in the recruitment, development and training of all Heartists
-
Balance operational, administrative and Heartist needs
-
Follow departmental policies and procedures

Follow all safety and sanitation policies

Ensure the HC Team is well versed and trained in First Aid.

Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Previous leadership experience in a Health Club required
-
CPR and First Aid certification required
-
University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
-
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Highly responsible & reliable

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
