Assistant Hotel Manager

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will work closely with the Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent guest experiences, and maintain high standards of service. Your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple responsibilities will contribute to the overall success of our hotel.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service
  • Manage and supervise hotel staff across various departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
  • Train, coach, and provide ongoing support to staff members to maintain high service standards
  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels and address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively
  • Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest experiences
  • Maintain accurate records of hotel operations, including financial transactions, occupancy rates, and guest feedback
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities, including monitoring expenses and revenue streams
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and guests at all levels
  • Ability to handle guest complaints or issues professionally and find appropriate solutions
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage departments
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant computer applications
