Assistant In-Room Dining Manager (IRD)

Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ASSISTANT IN-ROOM DINING MANAGER to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in elevating our in-room dining operations and ensuring our guests enjoy world-class service from the comfort of their rooms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Supervise, train, and motivate in-room dining staff to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee order accuracy, presentation standards, and timely delivery of all in-room dining requests.
• Monitor guest feedback and work proactively to exceed expectations and resolve issues.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety in compliance with hotel policies.
• Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, and front office teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Contribute to departmental budgeting, inventory control, and cost management.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

• Previous experience in food & beverage service, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in room service or similar.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial principles.
• A passion for hospitality and guest service excellence.
