Assistant Instructor - Digital Marketing & SEO (Tariq Road)

Job Description

• Develop and teach educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
• Develop and teach a curriculum that addresses course objectives
• Utilize innovative classroom techniques and methodologies that involve students in challenging learning opportunities;
• Provide feedback to students that will enhance their academic growth;
• Monitor and report student attendance;
• Refer to the supervisor those students not making adequate progress;
• Attend faculty meetings to formatively evaluate student progress and determine improvement strategies for students;
• Complete summative evaluations highlighting students’ strengths and needs;
• Staying up-to-date on trends and changes in the industry/field through personal research as well as attending seminars, conferences, etc.

Requirement

• BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
• Proven working and teaching experience in digital marketing
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, Facebook Ads Manager)
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords and Facebook/Instagram Ad campaigns
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Preference will be given to candidates with professional teaching experience
