Assistant Interior Designer

Job Overview
Seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Interior Designer. In this role, you will support the owner in doing technical drawings, sourcing products, placing orders. Responsibilities
Assist owner in preparing detailed drawings and plans using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, ProKitchen, 20-20, SketchUp. Support owners tasks including scheduling, budgeting, procurement coordination, and tracking project milestones to ensure timely delivery. Having transportation to go to vendors and clients is essential. Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, present design ideas, and incorporate feedback for continuous refinement. Help oversee site visits during construction or renovation phases to ensure designs are implemented accurately and quality standards are maintained. Contribute to maintaining organized project files, CAD drawings, contracts, and documentation for smooth workflow management.

Requirements
A strong foundation in interior design principles complemented by proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and 20-20 is essential. Experience with SketchUp, Prokitchen. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members are vital. A proactive attitude with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail is required. Temporary to Full Time

Although this position will start as part time (30 hours a week), depending on volume of business this may turn into a permanent job for the right candidate.
