We are looking for a qualified Assistant Manager Accounts with extensive knowledge of USA/UAE accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate should be ACCA/CA qualified and have proven experience in managing financial operations while ensuring compliance with USA laws and standards. This role will involve overseeing our company’s financial accounts, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, conducting audits, and providing strategic financial guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets for each company, monitor variances, and provide financial forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations for each company to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations for each company, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate annual audits and reviews for each company, liaising with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and resolve audit findings.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Accounting Terms and Conditions (T&C): Manage accounting terms and conditions across all entities, ensuring consistency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • System Improvements: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function, implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA, ACCA, or similar certification preferred.
  • Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in accounting, with specific experience in managing accounts for multiple companies.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity in financial reporting and management.
