Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

We are a reputable organization based in Abu Dhabi, committed to excellence and growth. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to join our finance team on an urgent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts and finance department.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and other statutory regulations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
  • Assist in cash flow management, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and other external parties as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies.
  • Supervise and guide junior team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CA Inter preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
