Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead our finance function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing accounting teams, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with strategic financial planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including receivables, payables, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor cash flows, working capital, and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation laws, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax.
  • Supervise and finalize annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Manage budgeting, cost control, and project-based financial tracking (Solar EPC & Generator sales/projects).
  • Implement internal financial controls and streamline accounting systems.
  • Liaise with banks for facilities, guarantees, and financial documentation.
  • Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in EPC, power generation, or engineering firms.
  • Strong command of financial reporting, taxation, and audit processes.
  • Sound understanding of project accounting and BOQ-based cost analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
