Assistant Manager Assets

Job Summary:


The Assistant Manager Assets is responsible for overseeing the management, tracking, and governance of organizational assets across all zones. This role ensures compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and SAP/ERP systems, while maintaining accuracy, traceability, and integrity of asset records. The Assistant Manager supervises asset movements, physical verification, inspections, and disposal processes, providing consolidated compliance reports to the Head of Department (HOD) and management. The role requires close coordination with procurement, ERP teams, and other departments to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; a master’s degree or professional certification will be preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, inventory management, or related functions, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management processes, accounting standards, and SAP/ERP systems.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and perform audits.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department coordination.
