    Job Description:

    Qualification :

    • MS IT/CS/Engineering or any related field from HEC recognized local / foreign university / institute.However, Individual having certification / expertise in IT resources management will be preferred.

    Experience:

    • 5-7 years of relevant experience in any reputable organization in Library and IT related works.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Experienced in staff work.
    • Knowledgeable about equipment & inventory management.
    • Proficient in MS Office, including presentation making, report preparation, spreadsheet maintenance.
    • Good communication skills

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Compile budget demands of NUST institutions for academic & technical resources and propose distribution of funds. Maintain funds allocation and expenditure records for each institution.
    • Scrutinize and process equipment procurement proposals.
    • Create and maintain an inventory of equipment and other resources procured for academic programs.
    • Maintain updated infrastructure resource information (i.e., Classroom, Office,
    • Auditorium, Lecture Hall, Seminar Hall, Conference rooms etc.)
    • Maintain updated state of Libraries and books/ journals/ magazines held by central and institutional libraries.
    • Compile budget demand and propose distribution of funds to institution libraries.
    • Scrutinization and processing of library resources procurement proposals.
    • Communicate with HEC and other organizations for digital library resources
    • Preparation of various Reports as needed.

    Terms and Conditions:

    • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics /Professional).
    • Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

    Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

    • 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
    • NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOCfrom Head of Institution.
    • In process of pursuing a required degree.
    • Medically unfit.
    • Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
    • Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply after seeking NOC from their respective parent department / organizations.
    • Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
    • Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
