Assistant Manager Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Plan, review, and implement overall operation and maintenance of installed machineries and utilities (Electrical, Mechanical & Civil).

• Manage timely completion of budgeted capex projects, including purchasing, installation, commissioning, and financial tracking in coordination with relevant teams.

• Oversee asset management including tagging, completion, and disposal in coordination with finance.

• Monitor and control engineering KPIs, drive productivity improvement projects, and support sustainability targets.

• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and EHS standards as per local laws and global benchmarks.

• Lead peer review audits and internal assessments related to the engineering function.

• Develop and manage relationships with specialized vendors for technical services and engineering projects.

• Lead and mentor the engineering team to enhance technical capabilities and operational efficiency.

• Ensure regular testing, calibration, and inspection of machines, tools, and facilities.

• Manage plant modifications and upgrades to align with evolving business requirements.

Requirements:

• BE in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, or Metallurgy.

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing operations.

• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.

• Excellent understanding of plant maintenance systems, safety standards, and process improvement tools.
