Qiddiya Investment Company is spearheading a transformative giga project aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, focused on establishing a premier destination for entertainment, culture, and lifestyle. The Assistant Manager - External Programs & Policies (Local Content) plays a key role in advancing the Company’s commitment to local content integration, supplier development, and compliance with government policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Local Content Strategy and Implementation
- Support the development and deployment of strategies aimed at enhancing local content across Qiddiya projects in alignment with PIF and national objectives.
- Monitor and interpret local content regulations and government mandates to ensure full compliance.
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and analysis related to local content performance and impact.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement and supply chain teams, to embed local content targets into operational processes.
2. Supplier Development and Engagement
- Assist in the design and execution of programs that build capacity and capabilities within local supplier bases.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers, government agencies, and other relevant bodies to foster supplier growth and compliance.
3. Stakeholder Coordination and Compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare for audits and ensure adherence to local content policies.
- Serve as a liaison to external stakeholders including government officials and regulatory bodies.
- Provide guidance and training to relevant teams on local content requirements and best practices.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in local content management, policy implementation, or supplier development, ideally within large-scale projects such as construction, infrastructure, or urban development.- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees such as MBA or Master’s in Public Policy, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management are advantageous.
- Certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP are preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s local content policies, government regulations, and Vision 2030 initiatives.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong asset.
- Prior experience working within the Saudi Arabian business environment is highly desirable.
