Assistant Manager Finance

The role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and accounting, with solid knowledge of internal controls and risk management practices.


Responsibilities include executing or supporting teams on multiple client engagements in the following areas:

  • Assess the impact of new international financial reporting standards
  • Lead financial planning and reporting, aligning forecasts with strategic objectives and improving reporting accuracy
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly variance analysis and performance tracking against budget and forecast, enhancing leadership visibility and decision‑making
  • Build and maintain financial models to support internal audits and pricing strategies
  • Design standard operating procedures for functions across an organization
  • Undertake and execute risk advisory engagements based on client needs
  • Support teams in the development of feasibility studies and business valuations
  • Support teams with assistance in the consolidation of financial statements
  • Support teams with the preparation of accounting memos for complex accounting transactions
  • Provide accounting support to identify the implications of business reorganization plans
  • Support, including the development and delivery of reports based on client-specific needs
  • Provide support with the preparation of business proposals for clients


The individual

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA/CA/ACCA certification
  • Additional qualifications in risk management will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of four years of experience in an advisory or corporate accounting advisory role
  • Brings experience working within a Bahrain‑based company and familiarity with the local business environment
  • Strong technical and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving attitude and proven ability to apply accounting concepts
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent client management, service, and technical writing skills
