Assistant Manager – HR (Compliance)

Qualification: MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or relevant discipline

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – HR (Compliance) to manage and ensure statutory, labor law, and HR compliance across our hospital/ICU units. The role requires strong knowledge of statutory regulations, coordination with internal teams, and liaison with external authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and labor laws (PF, ESI, PT, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, Gratuity, etc.)
  • Handle statutory registrations, renewals, returns, and audits
  • Maintain compliance documentation and records for inspections
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and government authorities
  • Support payroll inputs related to compliance (PF/ESI wages, deductions)
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and close gaps proactively
  • Support HR policies and SOPs aligned with statutory requirements
  • Guide unit HR/admin teams on compliance best practices

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance
  • Experience in multi-location compliance handling preferred
  • Good documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and HR compliance reporting
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Background

  • Experience in healthcare / hospital / manpower-intensive industries
  • Exposure to audits and inspections
