Role Description

We are seeking a proactive and professional Assistant Manager Human Resources for our Karachi operations. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supporting the end-to-end HR lifecycle. You will play a key part in maintaining our high standards of institutional excellence by overseeing recruitment, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring our "hospitality-first" philosophy is reflected in our workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract top-tier academic and administrative talent.
  • Operational Support: Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure seamless implementation of institutional policies.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a bridge between management and employees, fostering engagement and addressing workforce needs with empathy and professionalism.
  • Training & Development: Facilitate professional development and training programs to maintain our faculty's competitive edge.
  • Compliance: Ensure all HR practices remain compliant with local labor regulations and institutional standards.
  • Organizational Improvement: Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance organizational structure and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (Required); Master’s degree or professional HR certification (PHRP/SHRM) is a plus.
  • Expertise: Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR policies, compliance, and Pakistan labor laws.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and organizational abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern HRIS software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Industry Context: Familiarity with the education or hospitality sectors is highly advantageous.
