Assistant Manager – Human Resources (Night Shift)

Karachi, Pakistan

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources is responsible for handling various functions of human resource management and development. This includes employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training & development, compliance, and HR operations. The role also involves ensuring adherence to company policies while promoting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

· Assist in managing end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.

· Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs.

· Prepare job descriptions, post job advertisements, and screen resumes.

· Conduct interviews and support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.

· Employee Relations

· Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.

· Support the resolution of employee grievances and disciplinary matters.

· Foster a positive working environment and contribute to employee engagement initiatives.

Performance Management:

· Assist in implementing and monitoring performance management systems.

· Coordinate appraisal processes and ensure timely feedback cycles.

· Support managers and employees in setting performance goals.

· Training & Development

· Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.

· Organize internal and external training programs and workshops.

· Monitor the effectiveness of training interventions.

· HR Operations & Compliance

· Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

· Prepare HR reports and analytics for management.

· Assist in payroll coordination and employee benefits administration.

· Policy Implementation

· Support the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.

· Ensure consistent policy implementation across departments.

· Stay updated on HR best practices and employment regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

· 3–5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably with some supervisory responsibilities.

· Strong understanding of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Proficient in MS Office and HRIS software.

· Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Attributes:

· HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

07:00 - 04:00 AM - DHA Phase 05, Karachi. (5 working days per week)
