Assistant Manager- Imports (Global)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive individual who is willing to work in a fast-paced environment. The potential candidate will be looking after tasks related to customs clearance in different markets and will be having close coordination with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations. It’s a time-sensitive role which involves a lot of numbers.

Shift: (12:00 PM - 09:00 PM)

Job Description:

- Reviewing documents to ensure information is correctly reflecting like HS Codes, Duty Rates, etc.

- Closely monitoring container ETAs and notifying teams as needed so that operations can be aligned.

- Keeping close coordination with different teams to ensure details/requirements are being communicated timely.

- Reviewing product descriptions and other details stated on documents which are being sent out.

- Coordinating with brokers from respective markets for timely releases and forwarders for planning of shipments.

- Keeping track of daily tasks related to the role and taking necessary action accordingly.

- Assisting in research tasks pertaining to this area of work.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

- Graduate or above in the relevant field

- 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity

- Strong communication skills

- Presentable and should possess a professional attitude

- Analytical skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Planning and problems solving
