We Zain Suhail & Co. Charetred Accountants are looking for a competent and result-oriented professional to join our Internal Audit Department as Assistant Manager – Internal Audit. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing internal audit clients of the firm and ensuring effective execution and delivery of assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage internal audit assignments of clients of Zain Suhail & Co. Chartered Accountants
- Supervise and guide internal audit teams during fieldwork and reporting
- Independently handle client engagements and ensure timely completion of assignments
- Plan, execute, and finalize internal audit engagements in accordance with firm methodology
- Review and prepare internal audit reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with audit objectives
- Apply process improvement techniques to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls
- Identify internal control weaknesses and key risk areas, and develop practical, value-added recommendations
- Liaise with clients and senior management to discuss audit findings, resolve issues, and present audit reports in a professional manner.
- Perform any other task as assigned by senior staff, including manager and partners.
Key Knowledge & Skills:
- Sound knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards (IIA Standards)
- Strong understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Good command over local laws and regulatory frameworks
- Strong understanding of Risk Assessment Frameworks, including identification, evaluation, prioritization, and mitigation of risks
- Strong understanding of internal controls, governance, and compliance practices
Eligibility Criteria:
- CA Finalist / ICMA Finalist or Qualified / ACCA Finalist or Qualified
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit processes
- Ability to work independently and manage client relationships
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
