Assistant Manager - Mall Management

1. Mall Operations & Facilities Management
  • Assist in managing all daily operational activities within the mall, ensuring smooth functioning and excellent visitor experience.
  • Coordinate with security, housekeeping, maintenance, and parking teams to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality at all times.
  • Monitor and manage service provider contracts to ensure SLAs are being met.
2. Tenant Coordination & Relationship Management
  • Serve as a key point of contact for tenants; support onboarding and fit-out coordination in collaboration with the Leasing and Projects team.
  • Handle tenant queries, resolve operational concerns promptly, and maintain strong landlord-tenant relationships.
  • Track lease compliance and assist with occupancy reports and renewals.
3. Customer Experience & Marketing Support
  • Monitor footfall, customer feedback, and mall ambiance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in planning and executing in-mall events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Ensure signage, directories, and wayfinding elements are well-maintained and up to date.
4. Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain records of tenant agreements, insurance, payments, and statutory compliance.
  • Generate and present regular reports on mall performance, maintenance issues, tenant concerns, and occupancy rates.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control activities related to mall operations.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to all local regulations, safety standards, and company policies across the property.
  • Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments with relevant teams.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or related field.
  • Experience: 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in mall/property management or retail operations, preferably with a real estate developer or retail asset owner.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and stakeholder management
  • Operational awareness and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems (e.g., Yardi, SAP)
