Position: Assistant Manager Marketing
Position Summary
The Assistant Manager (Marketing) is responsible for supporting the planning, development and execution of marketing and business development strategies to enhance the hospital’s visibility, brand image and patient inflow. The role involves implementing marketing campaigns, coordinating community outreach activities, managing digital and offline communications and supporting strategic partnerships to achieve hospital growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of annual marketing and communication plans aligned with hospital goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, patient trends and competitor activities.
- Support in formulating service-specific marketing campaigns for various departments and specialties.
- Ensure consistent implementation of hospital branding across all platforms and materials.
- Coordinate the design, production and distribution of marketing collaterals such as brochures, posters and promotional videos.
- Manage internal and external communications to maintain a positive hospital image.
- Support in managing the hospital’s digital presence, including website updates, SEO and online reputation management.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to engage audiences and promote hospital services.
- Analyze digital marketing performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Plan and organize health camps, awareness programs, CME (Continuing Medical Education) sessions, and community engagement activities.
- Collaborate with doctors and departments to promote clinical programs and special initiatives.
- Build partnerships with corporate clients, insurance providers, and local organizations for outreach activities.
- Identify potential referral sources, corporate tie-ups and institutional collaborations.
- Support lead generation and conversion efforts through patient referral programs.
- Maintain relationships with doctors, corporate clients and community partners.
- Track marketing activities and prepare periodic reports on ROI and performance metrics.
- Maintain marketing budget records and support cost optimization efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3–6 years of experience in hospital (healthcare) or service industry marketing.
