AM Commercial Buying

Roshan Packages Limited is looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager – Commercial Buying to manage the procurement of machine parts, gears, and related mechanical components from local markets in Lahore. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing industry procurement, excellent market knowledge, and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle local purchasing of machine parts, mechanical tools, and industrial components.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and vendors.
• Conduct market analysis to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and quality standards for locally sourced parts.
• Coordinate with the maintenance, production, and finance departments for timely material availability.
• Manage purchase orders, vendor evaluations, and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and quality standards.
• Track market trends, compare quotations, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 4–6 years in procurement or commercial buying within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven knowledge of local mechanical and industrial markets in Lahore.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor-relationship management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
