The Assistant Manager (Marketing & Branding) will support the Marketing Director and Brand Manager in developing, executing, and monitoring brand strategies for the company’s perfume portfolio. This role ensures that the brand identity, positioning, and marketing activities align with business objectives, consumer trends, and market competitiveness in the fragrance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Development:
- Assist in developing brand strategies, annual marketing plans, and product positioning for perfumes and related product lines.
- Support in analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with R&D and product development teams for new fragrance launches, packaging, and product innovation.
Marketing & Campaigns
- Execute marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and trade channels in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Work with advertising agencies, designers, and media partners to create impactful brand communications.
- Manage social media presence, influencer collaborations, and PR activities to enhance brand visibility.
Sales & Trade Marketing Support
- Support retail activations, in-store displays, and merchandising strategies to maximize brand exposure.
- Coordinate with sales teams to provide marketing materials and ensure consistent brand execution at retail outlets.
- Monitor product performance and ensure sales targets are supported through marketing activities.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track brand KPIs including sales performance, market share, and campaign ROI.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management review.
- Conduct consumer surveys and feedback analysis to evaluate brand performance.
Budget & Administration
- Assist in managing brand budgets and ensuring effective allocation of marketing spend.
- Handle purchase requisitions, vendor coordination, and timely execution of brand initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in brand management, preferably in perfume, cosmetics, or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of luxury consumer behavior, fragrance trends, and retail operations in the UAE/GCC.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing tools (Google Analytics, social media platforms).
- Creative mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
