Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – MEP supports planning, execution, and supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at project sites. The role ensures timely execution of MEP activities in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

· 1. Site Execution & Coordination

Assist in execution of MEP works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.

Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to avoid clashes.

Supervise contractors and subcontractors at site.

Ensure availability of materials, tools, and manpower.

2. Drawings & Technical Support

Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.

Ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.

Support resolution of site technical issues and discrepancies.

3. Quality Control & Inspections

Implement QA/QC procedures for MEP works.

Conduct site inspections, testing, and monitoring of installations.

Ensure rectification of snags and non-conformities.

4. Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to EHS guidelines and site safety practices.

Coordinate with safety team for toolbox talks and audits.

Ensure compliance with statutory and local authority norms.

5. Planning & Progress Monitoring

Support preparation of work schedules and daily/weekly progress reports.

Track progress against project timelines and escalate delays.

Assist in coordination for testing and commissioning activities.

6. Cost Control & Documentation

Assist in measurement, billing, and certification of contractor bills.

Maintain MEP documentation, drawings, and records.

Support cost control and material reconciliation.

7. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

Assist in testing, commissioning, and performance validation of MEP systems.

Support preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

Assist in smooth handover to operations/facility team.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience:

· 6–10 years of relevant MEP experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects

Skills & Competencies

Working knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting systems

Understanding of NBC, IS codes, and local regulations

Site execution and coordination skills

Basic planning and billing knowledge

Good communication and teamwork skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Timely execution of assigned MEP activities

Quality and safety compliance

Coordination effectiveness

Support in successful commissioning & Handover.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
