Job Description:

Assist in Network Assets identification, prioritization and configuration in line with Information Security requirements prior and subsequent to deployment on production environment.

Assistant in developing baseline security documents for the Information Assets in the Network and related Infrastructure and implement the gaps identified.

To periodically review/assess the configuration files and operating systems of operating systems and vendor supplied patches on network devices and network security appliances.

Perform vulnerability assessments of all systems as per annual plans of network devices, ATMs, operating systems and databases.

To review the Privileged Accesses on periodic basis and report for security controls implementation.

To review Infrastructure Asset Inventory and verify integrations with security appliances for log
-
management/monitoring.

Deploy an effective mechanism to monitor security policy violations and unusual activities on their network

To manage and act upon the requests to assess the Business integration requirements, network integrations, remote access and user access, and share the Information Security recommendations.

To carryout vulnerability scans and/or penetration testing to identify the gaps in the systems. These assessments may be conducted manually or through automated Tool.

To prepare the reports/presentations to share with the relevant stakeholders for mitigation of the risks.

To interact with the network administrators on security education program and guide them on Information Security requirements and findings, advise them for fixing the gaps.

To develop metrics program for secure network and systems configuration.

To participate in Information Security Awareness Program of the bank.
Job Specifications:
-
5-8 years of experience in Information/ Cyber Security with minimum 4 years’ experience on the Network & Infrastructure security side.

BS/MS degree in Computer Sciences or information security or cybersecurity

CCNA or other Network security related certifications will be an added advantage
Knowledge/Skills:
-
Penetration testing in a range of systems including network devices, network security appliances and servers.

Understanding and application of a range of manual penetration testing techniques as well as proficiency with common security testing tools.

Conduct network scan on a wide variety of technologies and implementations utilizing both automated tools and manual techniques for Network and Systems penetration tests.

Demonstrate an ability to methodically analyze problems, identify solutions and remain composed in potentially stressful situations.

Adequately explain, present, demonstrate and document the operational impact of a particular vulnerability.

Developing new skills within technical information security.
-
Must possess deep understanding of Data networks, Microsoft/UNIX/LINUX communication mechanisms along with Microsoft Office.
-
Exhibit good writing and communications skills, to include the ability to render concise reports, summaries, and formal oral presentations.

Understand and be proficient in common cyber threat terminology, methodologies, possess basic understanding of cyber incident and response, and related current events.
