ASSISTANT MANAGER NSS PLANNING

Job Purpose: - Job Responsibilities:

• Perform capacity planning, traffic modeling and dimensioning of IMS and CS Core nodes based on traffic trends, subscriber growth, and service forecasts.
• Conduct annual traffic and subscriber forecasting to plan timely network expansions.
• Monitor network trends, utilization, performance, and redundancy to ensure optimal capacity, stability and manage the lifecycle of deployed nodes.
• Prepare project budgets in coordination with suppliers, management and historical prices.
• Develop project approval documents, present to management, and secure necessary approvals.
• Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and define technical evaluation criteria. Conduct technical evaluations of bidders against the floated RFP.
• Coordinate with Procurement for ordering prerequisites including Annexure locking, BPA definitions, and BOM–BOQ mapping.
• Prepare high-quality design and handover documents including HLD and LLD.
• Coordinate with relevant teams for smooth deployment across IMS, CS Core, PS Core, VAS Core, and CDN domains.
• Evaluate and plan enhancements for VoLTE, VoWiFi, vRBT, and future 5G Core services. Analyse requirements from business support departments and internal customers to evaluate feasibility and required customizations.
• Identify risks, prepare mitigation plans, and present to line manager for guidance.
• Coordinate with business support departments for third-party services to finalize end-to-end call flows and best fit in CMPak network.
• Support cross-functional teams including Commercial, BSS&ITI, IS, LDI&IB, Regulatory, and GCSS etc.
• Ensure Core Network compliance with PTA, Lawful Enforcement Agencies (LEA) requirements and stick to the CMPak Policies.
• Develop and automate Core Network processes using Python, Bash, REST APIs, SQL, or other tools as assigned (advantageous).
• Support R&D activities by assisting in AI/ML data analysis, prototyping, and proof-of-concept development for network and cloud use cases.
• Support Public Cloud and AI Enablement.
  
  

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills): Education: Must have a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Engineering Work Experience: Upto 4 years or more of relevant experience Skills - Generic:

Skills - Job Specific:

• Evaluate business requirements, analyse feasibility, and finalize end-to-end call flows in coordination with internal teams and third-party service providers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with PTA and LEA requirements while adhering to organizational policies.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation plans, and support cross-functional teams
• Contribute to automation and innovation by developing scripts (Python/Bash/REST APIs/SQL) and supporting AI/ML-based R&D initiatives (added advantage).
