Job Purpose:
-
The Assistant Manager Planning and Analysis will ensure effective coordination, governance, analysis and management of departmental affairs for planning activities. The role will support by doing strategic & impact analysis, streamlining policies and processes, managing departmental operations, tracking performance, overseeing inventory management, supporting internal audit and compliance activities, and enabling efficient communication and collaboration across intra and inter departmental domains.
Job Responsibilities:

Understanding of network architecture, network planning, telecom technologies and services, and business operations.

Ensure effective coordination and management of day-to-day departmental affairs to support smooth operations.

Maintain proactive market insight and industry awareness to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.
-
Provide strategic insights and conduct impact analysis on evolving geopolitical and economic scenarios, providing timely recommendations to support effective network planning.

Maintain and track departmental KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports.
-
Support planning, monitoring, and reporting of departmental projects and activities.
-
Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and version control of all departmental communications and deliverables.

Manage internal approvals, workflows, and correspondence in line with organizational policies.
-
Facilitate preparation of presentations, reports, and summaries for management to support informed decision-making.

Assist in organizing departmental meetings, preparing MOMs (Minutes of Meeting), and tracking action items.

Monitor and ensure timely execution and closure of assigned tasks, action items, and departmental initiatives.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.

Streamline, implement, and monitor departmental/organizational policies, processes, and SOPs to enhance governance and efficiency.

Track and report departmental KPIs, OKRs, performance metrics, and progress against defined targets.

Ensure timely support for Strategy and Regulatory requirements.

Manage and monitor departmental inventory, ensuring accuracy, optimization, and compliance with defined procedures with the support of NP’s domains.

Support the Line Manager in the efficient execution and timely delivery of tasks assigned by the management.

Proactively carry out compliance risk identification and evaluation, timely report compliance risks, compile risk list and corresponding job responsibility list and process control list, and take actions to prevention and control compliance risk.

Regularly review the compliance, legality and effectiveness of the policy and process related to routine operation & management, and put forward suggestions for improvement.

Participate in compliance training organized by relevant departments, and organize employees to carry out compliance training. Cooperate with relevant departments to investigate and handle of violations, response the compliance problems and risks, and other compliance responsibilities related to the department.

Act as a liaison among for effective inter- and intra-departmental coordination through proactive follow-ups, ensuring timely documentation and efficient management of trackers and databases.
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):
Education:
-
At least bachelor’s degree, MBA/Masters will be an added advantage.
-
PMP or other relevant professional certifications will be considered a plus.
Work Experience:

Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
