Assistant Manager- PPC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Assist in preparing daily and weekly production plans aligned with order delivery timelines.
• Update and monitor Time & Action (TNA) calendars for active styles.
• Support workload balancing across production lines based on capacity and manpower availability.

2. Pre-Wash (Before-Wash) Coordination

• Verify availability of fabric, trims, markers, and patterns before issuing to production.
• Coordinate sewing schedules in line with washing capacity.
• Monitor sewing progress and ensure alignment with washing input targets.

3. Post-Wash (After-Wash) Coordination

• Track wash process flow (enzyme, bleach, stonewash, PP spray, etc.) to ensure timely completion.
• Follow up on wash sample approvals and trial loads in coordination with QA.
• Assist in scheduling packing based on finishing and QA clearances.

4. Communication & Coordination

• Collaborate with Merchandising, QA, Production, Washing, and Finishing teams for order updates.
• Participate in daily PPC review meetings and update progress reports.
• Support the preparation and communication of production status and critical path updates.

5. Monitoring & Reporting

• Maintain WIP tracking sheets from cutting to shipment through ERP and Excel.
• Compare planned vs. actual output and highlight variances to the Deputy Manager PPC.
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly MIS reports including production performance and delay summaries.

6. Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure adherence to production SOPs and buyer compliance requirements.
• Support Lean initiatives, Kaizen activities, and process improvement projects.
• Participate in internal audits and process reviews as assigned.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and data reporting.
• Good understanding of denim production processes (cutting, sewing, washing, finishing).
• Effective communication and problem-solving ability.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-up

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lahore: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Denim Industry: 5 years (Required)
