Lead overall operations of sourcing function in Procurement of mechanical department, managing requests for quotations, and seek technical approval from relevant stake holders as per SOPs.



Job Description


  • Review comparative statement and complete the process for management approval.
  • Issuance of purchase orders and dispatch the purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Follow up for material deliveries with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with Plant and Finance department for resolution of any post-dispatch issues.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders for negotiation of high value purchasing and finalization of any long term contract.


Experience and Qualification


  • Bachelors / Masters.
  • 02 to 04 years of relevant experience.


Specific Requirements:


  • Knowledge of suppliers related to cement industry.
  • Core Competencies: Level 2 - Professionalism, Communication, Customer Driven, Analytical Thinking, Planning & Achievement Focus.
  • Leadership Competencies: Level 2 - Strategic Thinking, Leading from the front, Developing People.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
