ASSISTANT MANAGER PROCUREMENT

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Procurement to support and manage day-to-day procurement operations. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, vendor management, cost control, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing procurement activities
  • Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate prices and terms
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and evaluate supplier performance
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Assist in contract management and documentation
  • Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain (an advantage)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
