Job Purpose:

To manage and optimize procurement activities related to Digital, IT, and Communication technologies (DICT), ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, vendor performance, and timely availability of IT goods and services.
Job Responsibilities:

Procurement Planning & Execution - Develop procurement plans for IT/DICT equipment, software, and services - Execute end-to-end procurement cycle (PR → RFQ/RFP → Evaluation → PO → Delivery

Ensure timely procurement aligned with organizational needs

Experience with import procurement and customs procedures
-
Familiarity with international sourcing. - Visit the market, on need basis, along with the DICT team to explore new vendors and sourcing options

Coordination with HQ & Regional level DICT Teams.

Vendor Management - Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable DICT vendors - Maintain vendor database.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs)

Contract & Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements

Monitor contract performance and renewals
-
Cost Optimization - Conduct market analysis for IT products and services
-
Implement cost-saving strategies (bulk purchasing, framework agreements)

Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) for IT assets
-
Coordination with IT/DICT Teams - Work closely with GCSS/DICT department to understand technical requirements

Translate technical specifications into procurement documents

Support GCSS/DICT projects with timely sourcing of hardware/software

Inventory & Asset Management - Monitor inventory levels (hardware, networking equipment, licenses)
-
Coordinate with warehouse and GCSS/DICT teams for asset tracking
-
Control inventory pilling by careful analysis of fresh purchase against existing inventory

Documentation & Reporting - Maintain procurement records

Prepare reports on procurement activities, savings, and vendor performance
-
Ensure audit readiness at all times
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):
Education:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Finance / Accounting / Business Administration / IT - Professional certifications (preferred): CIPS / ACMA / ACCA / PMP.
Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement
-
At least 3–4 years handling IT/DICT procurement - Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred
