Assistant Manager Quality Officer

Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Assistant Manager Finance & Accounts

Job Purpose:

To maintain accurate records and ensure proper control of fixed assets, provident fund, donations, and cash transactions in compliance with organizational policies and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register, including acquisitions, disposals, tagging, and identification.
  • Record capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliation of fixed assets with the General Ledger.
  • Conduct physical verification of fixed assets in coordination with auditors.
  • Calculate and record annual depreciation and prepare detailed schedules for audit purposes.
  • Manage provident fund transactions, including cheques, loans, settlements, and bank reconciliation.
  • Supervise cash payments, advances, and prepare daily cash reports.
  • Process adjustment vouchers and reconcile advance payments.
  • Maintain records of donations, issue receipts, and prepare donation reconciliation statements.
  • Coordinate with internal audit for bill checking and resolve audit queries.
  • Prepare management reports as required by the Head of Department.
  • Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
