Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow and high-quality food delivery
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Oversee food preparation and kitchen activities to uphold food safety standards and consistency in quality
- Handle cash transactions, POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and cash handling procedures accurately
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Assist with shift management by scheduling staff, assigning duties, and monitoring performance during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling best practices
- Expertise in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, training staff, and conducting interviews
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food management strategies to optimize operations
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including shift management, customer service excellence, and kitchen supervision
- Background in hospitality management with a focus on food safety standards and culinary experience
