Position Title: Assistant Manager Sales & Sourcing

Position Overview:
Naturetech Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Sourcing Manager to lead our Yellow Pine Wood division. This pivotal role involves managing the entire lifecycle of our yellow pine products, from international procurement to domestic sales and marketing. The ideal candidate will be a master negotiator and communicator, possessing in-depth knowledge of the international timber market and import logistics. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with both international suppliers and local clients to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing (70%)
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve sales targets for Yellow Pine Wood in the domestic market.
- Identify, target, and develop new client accounts while maintaining and growing existing relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and close deals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on sales performance to senior management.
International Procurement & Sourcing (30%)
- Identify and establish relationships with reliable international suppliers and mills for high-quality Yellow Pine Wood.
- Lead negotiation of purchasing agreements, including pricing, quality specifications, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor global market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain dynamics to make informed procurement decisions.
- Manage the complete import process, including liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
- Ensure all import documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, LCs) is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
- Resolve any issues related to quality, quantity, or logistics with international vendors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a sales, procurement, or business development role, preferably within the timber, lumber, or construction materials industry. Direct experience with Yellow Pine Wood is a significant advantage.
- International Trade Knowledge: Demonstrable experience in international sourcing and managing the import process, including knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international payment methods (e.g., Letter of Credit).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory. Must be able to articulate ideas clearly and professionally in emails, reports, and presentations.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record as a strong and effective negotiator with both international vendors and local clients.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting professional relationships.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for market opportunities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Specifically MS Excel & MS Word and comfortable using CRM software.
