Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition

Active8 Wireless is a fast-growing company expanding its tech and operations teams in Karachi. As we scale, we are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition. This role is designed for a recruitment leader who can go beyond sourcing to optimize our hiring processes, manage complex pipelines, and ensure we attract top-tier talent in a competitive market.

Role Overview

  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 days a week)
  • Shift Timings: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Afternoon to Midnight)
  • Location: Onsite – RJ Mall, Karachi

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical and non-technical roles, ensuring a steady stream of high-quality candidates.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a partner to Department Heads and Hiring Managers to forecast hiring needs, define specialized personas, and align recruitment goals with business objectives.
  • Pipeline Leadership: Develop and oversee robust talent pipelines using advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean search, headhunting, and professional networking).
  • Process Optimization: Audit and improve current recruitment workflows—from initial screening to onboarding—to enhance efficiency and candidate conversion rates.
  • Offer Management: Lead complex salary negotiations and closures, ensuring market competitiveness while maintaining internal parity.
  • Employer Branding: Champion Active8 Wireless as an employer of choice through social media presence, campus recruitment, and industry networking.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Maintain and analyze recruitment dashboards (Time-to-Hire, Cost-per-Hire, Source Quality) to provide actionable reports to management.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior recruitment staff or coordinators to ensure team KPIs are met.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of experience in recruitment/TA, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Expertise: Proven track record in Bulk Recruitment and Tech Hiring within the local Karachi market.
  • Communication: Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for interacting with senior leadership and international-standard talent.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working the 3 PM – 12 AM shift and thriving in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Tools: Proficiency in ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), LinkedIn Recruiter, and advanced Excel/reporting tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced negotiation and "closing" psychology.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pakistan Labor Laws and local market compensation benchmarks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret hiring trends and data.
